I love the electric car crowd....but here is a fact that goes unnoticed:
A guy called the scrap yard here couple weeks ago, his Prius had gotten old enough to have the battery pack replaced. That cost him $4000.00.
His "enviornmentally friendly" electric batteries have a life span of 6 to 8 years.
He asked if we bought them to be recycled because the landfill was charging $5000.00 to properly landfill the batteries.
Per our corporate office and national recycler buyer, these Li-ION batterries have no recyclable value and must be landfilled.

Funny, huh? That's probably the WORST thing we could put into the ground, a highly toxic and corrosive battery......

I will stay at the green pump, thank you!

He was at the point of not letting me pass or move cause he kept moving in front and spooking my horse. So finally I pulled out my .41 magnum Ruger Vaquero and pointed it at him, then rode away....and shot a 3x4 bull elk about 2 miles up the trail.

This is what we deal with in Missoula, Montana....The only hippie and liberal city in Montana....it used to be the other way around....not anymore.
Wow! All I can say is that anyone who pulls a gun on me better pull the trigger before I can draw and pull mine. .22 or not. I don't care if it is a damn squirt gun, if it looks like a gun and you point it in my direction in a threatening manner, you should pray to God because you are guaranteed to have a real gun pointed right back at you in short order. I glad you made it out of there without being shot by some freak.

But anyway. When I get on it, I am feeding the trees. C02 is what plants need to survive. The more I put out, the more food the trees have; as long as the sun is shining but I don't control that. I drove the truck on "Earth Day" AKA indoctrination day, instead of the economy car. Hey, I want to make sure the trees and plants don't go hungry on earth day.

Between the 6.9L, my '76 Camaro, and burning upwards of 15,000lbs of Jet-A in a couple hours, I'd say I'm doing my part.
