Ford OEM camper shell

I'm the original owner of a '76 F350 camper special, supercab. I ordered the truck with the factory fiberglass camper shell. A few years back I misplaced the window lock for one of the shell's sliding windows. It had been re-glued many times, and I forgot where I put it the last time it came loose.

Does anyone know of a source for a replacement, please let me know ?

The lock is a two-part black plastic item. One part mounts to the non-slider piece of glass, the other to the slider. Locks by a press and twist cam action, when the two parts line up.

I bought an OEM one just like what you have and I was told that it was made by GemTop. I'd search around for a GemTop dealer.

Ford OEM camper shell

Karljay... FWIT, I contacted Gem Tops and was advised by their customer service rep that the Ford OEM camper shell was made by Rockwell International, a division that has been out of business for several years. I guess I'll keep looking for the missing lock--I know I didn't throw it away, so it's got to be hiding in one of my tool/storage drawers. The reason I got re-interested in finding the lock and re-gluing is because I have found a very strong, new (to me), 2-part adhesive (resin and liquid) with a bonding strength you wouldn't believe. It's called Plast-aid.
