So I just finished changing the rear air bags, compressor, relay and added a spider jr to my 99 Navi. They are original and the compressor was loud as hell. I have now just discovered that one of the solenoids is stuck closed. Swapped them side to side to eliminate a wiring issue and made no difference. Is there any way to free the stuck solenoid or am I dead in the water until I get a new one.

 

Hey I am having rear end issues with my 98 Expedition and noticed you installed a Spider Jr. How do these work, I can't find that much info about them.

 

It goes in the air line by the master cylinder. It is used in case the compressor fails so you cam air up the rear of the vehicle. What issues are you having?

 

My rear air bags deflated and the compressor sort of makes noise. I checked the relay behind the front passenger tire like someone recommended and that did not fix the compressor. I tried airing up the back tires by removing the compressor and shooting air in but I read the rear solenoids need opened. I can put air into the front air bags fine. I went ahead and ordered a conversion kit so I guess I will replace the air bags.
