2011 F250 DVD HEADREST

I have put some upgrade on my truck and I am up to the DVD in the headrest. I ordered some but they did not match. I have the tan interior with gray stitching. The headrest DVD player I received was the perfect color tan, but the stitching was tan too. Does anyone have any idea.

Probably has to do with when they switched the interiors. My two tone interior has charcoal outers with charcoal stitching (camo in middle) where the new monotone interiors has contrasting stitching. I'm sure the tan is a similar situation.

Are the factory headrests even available any more? I notice they no longer are listed on the Ford accessory websites, and I remember reading threads where it mentioned supply problems.

Well, mine are on order but three weeks later still have not received them.

I think they will be good because we have two kids (2 and 12) and I know they won't want to watch the same things so this a much better solution than the single overhead for us.

The factory ford ones. Headrest style. They each have their own headphones and remotes. Taking forever to come. I bought my truck a month ago today and selected these as an option. $2200!!!

I have had mine installed for awhile now(about 2 months) and love them. I have the limited edition seats(2-tone) and the tan and stitching are perfect. They are the Invision units out of the Ford accessory book. I got mine for $1200.00 because I work for a car dealer(not Ford) and I got them at cost. Here's a pic...

For power, I used one of my upfitter switches. All they need is power and ground. No other wires to hook up. I will have to get you the part number later this evening as I am at work now.

i have those exact one, but the problem is that my truck has a dark gray stich, do you have any ideas for that. i do appreciate your help and i do like using the switches to use it. i just put a air horn in and if swich is on the air horn blows if it is down the regular horn.

So if you go into where you accessorize your truck they do show the headrests. But the only list the Adobe leather with matching stitching. Charcoal leather doesn't specify either way. If you go to Invisions website (who makes them) you can't even select Ford from their list of vehicles. They must have some agreement not to market them direct to customers. Pain in the ***. Might want to look into aftermarket set ups to actually get some service.

Here is the part number for the Invision system: SL702-CM701
It is the Adobe leather with matching stitching. I remember that they did call and ask me what color the stitching was and my VIN. I gave that info and all was well.

I did go onto Invision's website when I was researching these and made the same discovery-no Ford from the selection menu. The dealer I work for installs the Invision systems everyday, so I asked my parts manager to call them on my behalf. This is how I got mine so cheap and quickly. Only took 3 days from order to received.

Invision and Rosen are the 2 best headrest DVD systems on the market. Beware of the $400.00 systems...you will be replacing them every 6 months.

So i ordered these for my 2011 and I went in to have them installed today. The stitching was black (Job 1 I believe) whereas my job 2 stitching is grey/silver. I have already waited 2 months for these and they only have one part number so there is nothing they can do to get the right colours. Good thing I asked to see them before they installed them otherwise I would have been even more pissed than I already was if I had come back to find they just went and installed them.

Anyway, they are going to get sone aftermarket ones done up that will match. Apparently these aftermarket ones will have game controllers and an FM modulator so we can all hear th movies through the truck stereo. Apparently they are also leas expensive and can be done in a week. I'll let you know how it goes...
