'95 F-150 4x4 Left front suspension thump
Hi all, I'm new to this site and this my first post and hopefully the right place to find an answer to my question that's been driving me nuts! I've got a thumping noise in the left front when the tire drops into a bump, doesn't really matter on the size of pothole or curb. It feels like it's right under my feet. Curious if anyone else has had this problem and how they solved it. Now, I tell you what I've replaced trying to fix it. Shock towers, shocks, upper/lower ball joints, radius arms/brackets, all the rubber everywhere, steering link, bushings in the front axle pivot point. I'm lost, help!
Thanks!
Dave
Thanks!

Here's a thread of mine where I had the same issue as you:

Here's an article that I found that states this is a common occurrance and has a fix for some of the issues.

Thank for the links, I'm heading over to the garage to try the crossmember thing right now. My dad had been a Ford Tech for 30+ years and this is stumping him and all his buddies too. I actually found a TSB from 1997 on the PTS website that covers just about everything in the link. I'll keep you guys posted
