Extended diesel warranty worthwhile?

The extended warranty on the new 6.7 would be something I would consider. The problem is that Ford wiggles it's way out of it's warranty liability so really how good is the EX. warranty? Does it give you peace of mind knowing down deep they may just deny the claim anyways?
Fords M.O. is to deny anything is wrong, say they can't duplicate the issue or say it's normal and then flat out deny the warranty claim. I know all of these first hand.

March 2012
Here is some current Extended Service Plan (ESP) info that I bet others can use. I’m considering & looking into these extended warranties as I pick up my new F250 in two days. Below are the price quotes I’ve gotten over the last few days from my dealer (they must think new vehicle buyers are idiots) and from Troy Dietrich at Ford of Greenfield in Greenfield MA.
I still maintain a 125,000 mile ESP PremiumCARE on my 2003 7.3 diesel Excursion (has 101,000 miles) and I have used it so far to replace ball joints (only lower set) and a brake leakage problem. No probs in getting them to accept my FORD ESP plan from Troy Dietrich.
Data from March 2012:
My local FORD dealer (in N. Florida):
PremiumCARE:
7 yr / 125K plan = $3,830.... with $100 deductible. Note this is without negotiating a lower price (just yet).
Premium Maintenance plan:
7 yr / 125K = $3800 (using 7,500 service intervals)
PremiumCARE using Troy Dietrich:
7 yr / 100K plan is $1769.00
7 yr / 125K plan = $2,539....both with $100 deductible.
Premium Maintenance plan:
7 yr / 125K = $3030 (using 7,500 service intervals)
Last night I submitted a price quote request from Ford ESP Contract Benefits but I have not heard back from them just yet.
Here is Troy’s website (I have no affiliation with him or this company-merely passing on useful info):
Factory Discount Warranty
Post up your offers to see about helping others please.
Hoo Yah!!

I bought coverage with Nationalrepairsolutions.com. This lady at the dealership told me about them. She said they have a network of dealer warranties they can sell you. They can find the same coverage for the lowest price. They did payments for me for 18 months with no interest or credit check just had to pay the down payment. The transmission in my truck went out about a year ago and they paid for it even though I was still making payments on the warranty to them. It's been good so far. I believe I paid a total of $1600 or $2300 about.
Hope that helps someone!
