Dana 60 outer shaft repair?
Hey guys, I bought a d60 from a 94 F350 to do a ttb swap on my 96 F250. My question is weather or not I can use my ttb outer axle shaft from the short side if I can repair the damage on the existing shaft or if I need to source another one. You can see the damage caused by a bearing failure towards the yoke end of the shaft. I figured I could weld it up and have it spun down on a lathe. Link to photo below.
