We had a nasty storm last night and I noticed that when I was leaving school today I heard a sloshing noise that sounded like it was inside of the cab, so I looked over to make sure that it was not in those pockets on the door panels and it was not so when I got home I lifted up the passenger floor mat and it was absolutely soaked. So I pulled up the plastic rocker cover piece and the whole channel was full of water. So I looked at the fire wall and I saw as streak of water on it so I figure my windshield is leaking. Has anyone else had this trouble? I need a new windshield anyhow so how much does a new windshield, rubber, and installation cost????? thanks for the input.

 

That was an issue on some of the 99 models, but I figured they would have all been fixed by now. A poorly installed windshield can do the same thing.

When you get a chance, pull the fuse box that is below the steering wheel. Your GEM is located on the back of the fuse panel. If either of them got wet, they can cause the electrical stuff to act funny. If wet, a hairdryer will help dry them out.
