wheres your brake controller?

Hey I'm thinking about where I'm gonna put myh brake controller...anyone have any pics of their instal? I think ill be going the tekonsha prodigy route (my other 2 are the best!) Pics and details on where the pigtail plugs in under the dash would help too, thanks!

Seriously? I guess no one is doing any real towing with these, huh?

seems kind of silly that a truck that boasts about its towing capacity has no factory controller like their other trucks. Was a pain to locate mine and didnt really like drilling into the dash of a new truck

Her is a link to a video of an install in an 07. I followed this and I'm happy with the location. I did not put the second screw in and it has not moved a bit.

I did not drill my dash either. There are a couple screws that hold the dash on above the brake pedal and gas pedal. I chose to use the one over the brake pedal. It took me about 5 minutes to install mine, it already had the ford adapter attached. One screw removed from the dash, re-insert screw with the adapter bracket, plug in wire harness then make sure you get the rest of the cord out of the way and you are good to go. I do agree that an integrated controller would be awsome.
