I have a 2004 Fx4. Recently picked up 5 SVT Raptor wheels with 315's. The metal "holder", at the end of the spare tire cable that goes through the wheel hub is too large to fit through the Raptor wheel. Any suggestions on what I can do to have my matching 5th wheel under my bed? Can I just swap that "holder" for a smaller one?

It might take some adjusting and tinkering with the smaller one to get everything just right but yeah I would be willing to bet you could get it to work and swap to a smaller holder.
