Powered amp

Hey guys,

I'm looking at a stereo system. I'm running a 5.25 in each door, a powered sub from Kenwood, fit under my driver or passenger seat, and a new deck.

A few questions, I plan on getting coaxial speakers, can I run them off my powered amp?

With my powered amp I got a 8 gauge install kit, do I need to go bigger?

Lastly, how many patch cords do I need to buy, or do I need to buy them at all to wire this all up.

Thanks,

No.

It depends on how many channels your driving and I would recommend them.

You will need a set of RCAs for each pair of output channels your amp has. I would run the speakers on the amp. They will sound much better.
