Hello Everyone,

I'm in the process of changing my 74' assisted p.s. to a 78-79 p.s. system. got all the old junk out and probly next week will start to put the new in. so you guys will probably get some questions on it.

Check the Tech Articles there is a write up there by someone who did it, he isnt really a good writer and not very smart either

The Tech article is for a F-250. I'm also gearing up for such a challenge on a '73 F-100 4WD, gathering info, etc.

I just recently had mine changed to a 79 front axle. Put a steering box and disc breaks up front. Well worth it, mine drives, turns and stops so well. I found a guy who knows these trucks and he did an awesome job. I lacked the exprience and know how to do it myself. I'll take some pics of it and post them.
