I have this used ZF transmission that came out of a 1990 f-250 diesel 4WD. I want to trade it for a 2WD transmission for a Diesel. Must be 1992 or older, for speedo cable to work. Let me know if you want to make a deal.

I have one out of a 1991 f350 7.3 liter diesel 2wd.

Do you want to sell your 2WD model?

 

Mine is in Southeast Kansas. My only concern about yours is it looks like it has set out in the weather mine is still the truck. we pulled the engine and put in another truck. Tranny shifted and ran fine.

 

Are you up for some sort of trade. Where are you at.

 

This transmission is sitting under an awning, so its not in the rain. However, I don't know what life its had before I found it. If you like, I can send you some pics of fluid, or what it looks like with side cover off. I don't know of another way to check its condition. I still have to pay 300 bucks if I want to keep or trade it. The guy that owns it has been holding it for me for a couple of weeks. If you agree, then yes, I'd buy it and trade it for the 2wd model.

this is the same transmission that uses super duty f 1992? and as the size of the hood

 

I'm really not sure exactly what it came out of.
