Died Again!
Ok sunday the truck died like you turned off a switch. Turns out it was the ICP. So I thought. Now it does it again. I put a new ICP and a new pigtail on it. Truck runs smooth tuesday and today then 10 minutes ago click like you hit a switch the b@+*h dies in the middle of an intersection. I jump out un plug the ICP and she fires up. What the hell is going on here? Its a 95 auto 230xxx. When I get home my signature will come up. I stopped and typed this out don't worry.

ok tuesday I put my Grey CPS back in because I "thought" maybe that was bad while at work sunday. Then while reading the site here figured out must be the ICP. Got home unplugged it and she took a second and houston we had ignition sunday. Monday picked up new pigtail and new ICP. Put new parts on cleaned up under hood fixed some other wires that were loose. Truck ran great tuesday and today. I even had the privilege to tow today an '07 dirtymax on my trailer crewcab. All went good with that this happened about 15 minutes afterwards. I am getting code p1280. Now that I am home I started the truck and plugged the ICP in and shut the truck off. Scanned it, got code. Then tried to start it again. She fired right up. WHAT IS GOING ON? I'm a bit flustered here!

There are no physical tests for the IPR . The only test is expensive . Replace it .. When they are bad they stick from wear ,not from dirt . The edge filter won't let anything significant past it .. There are some tests you can do at no start , but the tools to do them are much more expensive than an IPR from E bay ..
BY the way , they can stick open(no start) & closed (will run with the IPR unplugged ) If you ave a scanner that can read ICP pressure & IPR DC% & an Ohm meter , you can test it at no start ..Other wise , you will need to by a new one to test ...For now , make sure the connection to it is clean & tight & no bad spots in the wires ..(& no blown fuses ) ..
