Well, I don't know, I'll talk to my dad. I do have some cash, but I may not be able to justify it with dad to buy a pushbar instead of spending it on brakes- even if I would just turn and sell the bar. We'll see what he says.

Yeah, I understand that part, but dad isn't too keen on the idea. I still just 17 years old, so I'm afraid there's just not too much that I can do...

The intent of my original post was just to let you guys know so if you wanted it you could go and buy it from them, I just hate to see rare parts crushed if someone else could use it.

I'll go back to the yard sometime soon, maybe this weekend and see if it's still there, and if it is I'll see if I can talk dad into letting me buy it, but I'm afraid I can't guarantee anything...

Thats cool Rusty and I understand your dads way of thinking. But if you get the money UP FRONT and are out nothing and get a little change for the gas tank along the way AND help out a fellow FTE'er, what's wrong with that?

I am jst trying to get THAT bar for a guy that wants it, so I am not tempted to sell any of mine, lol.

Have you seen their flip top bed panels to access a storage box in each bed side above the fenderwells? Its cool, IMO.

 

Yeah, I have seen those.
They look easy to break into though.
Seems like a thief would look at that lock box and break into looking for valuables.
