How to change the oil filter.

I was under my new truck trying to figure out how to change the oil when it is time. I figured out how to gain access to the drain plug. But what about the filter? Anyone tried yet?

Yep in the front between the metal pan and the bumper is a rubber filler, the drivers side has the plastic twist clips which opens that side up. the filter is up in there a little bit but pretty easy to get to. You will notice there is a pan under the filter which funnels the oil out to the front, Caution- loosen filter slowly and let drain slowly for a few min., if you open to fast the pan will overflow and make a mess all down in the metal pan.
