Well tomorrow I plan on doing my bb mod, also I was thinking...could I make a egr valve block off plate?

I'm sure I have the material at work to make one, so I can leave my egr valve still plugged in but just not in it's normal spot?

I'm still getting smoke with it plugged in but not plugged in...?

 

Tyler if you have a functioning EGR system i don't think you can pull your egr valve out and do what you want to do.

 

Alright, I'm just trying to figure out why is smoking with the valve being plugged in.

I soaked it over night in a gallon of carb cleaner, I think that messed it up internally. I might buy a new valve off eBay and see what happens.

Just an idea I had.

 

Yea if sumerged in carb cleaner its most likely gone time to buy new one
