Finally something crossed off the list - - Engine runs!

I am going to try to embed this you tube video. YouTube - 351 Cleveland on pump gas.MOV
Keep in mind I have ONLY a flex plate so It won't idle very well and buzzes up quickly. The engine is a warmed up 351 Cleveland with 4V heads 11:1 pistons and a few other goodies so it has some snot. I will probably build a second engine for the future (a bit tamer as this was a drag race engine for several years with a bit of freshening to make it last a season or two. I just wanna drive the truck not rebuild every piece. but it is my nature to do everything.

Alright man!
I still remember when I first fired up my motor, man I was on edge, didn't know what to expect! It was so cool hearing it run for the first time.

What are those blue things the plug wires are draped over? They look like little oil pans on top of the engine.

Seriously, I'm not just a flathead guy, I like all the Ford V-8s except that one smog junker. Of all the over head valves, I love the 351C most.

Sounds good.
