239 yblock
#2
Howdy,
Not much. The 239 is not a very powerful engine and some parts are problematic.
I pulled a barely running 239 and sold it for about $150. It had a worn out timing set that slipped.
I replaced it with a 292.
You might get more if you find someone who specifically wants a 239 to put in their 55 F-100-600
I am not worrying about someone noticing that my Y-block is NOT a 239. Most people cannot tell the difference!
A "core" 239 is probably worth more as scrap.
Regards,
Rick

You already asked the exact same question here and got the same basic answers:

Repeat: your 239 Y-block is not worth much more than scrap metal value.
