Trans won't shift right, electrical?
Having some troubles with the trans, 99 f250 auto 4x4. Yesterday all was fine, it was raining out and when i pulled into a parking lot i ran through some small puddles of water, shut the truck off, went to leave and it was like it was in 2nd or 3rd gear when in drive. Instantly I figured it's gotta be electrical because I had some codes during the winter when we had a bad slushy snow. Checked the codes and there were a couple for shift solenoid errors and open circuits. I disconnected the wiring connector on the trans, wiped it down and put some dielectric grease in there, couldnt see anything wrong with anything else.
Get back in, clear the codes, start it up and same thing. I'm pretty sure its in 3rd when you put it in drive because I can manually shift it down to 2nd, but it won't go into first at all though. I took the superchips program out and now it's only giving me a po603 and a p1000 but still doing it.
Fluid is at right level and not burn, when I drove it home it drove normal, stayed at 120 degrees. So I'm doubting it's a mechanical issue.
