I guess I am thinking of something else or it is diffent from what I am thinking.

Yes, I replaced 2 injectors. Tuned it for a few days acted up again, took the tune out and never had an issue again...

I think it was just the tuner, its really up to you.

Take the alt off and then I used these directions for replacing a turbo to get to the y pipe.

Did your Elite Diesel "y" pipes have the connection for the EGR cooler? The picture on the web page only shows two flex sections and I think there should also be one for the EGR cooler tee.
Another question, did you have to replace the bolts that attach the "y" pipes to the manifolds? Were they corroded?

My EGR cooler is gone so there is no tee just a bypass up pipe.
No the bolts were fine, I soaked them with PB Blaster the night before.
I think you can get new bolts from Ford if you need them.
