Side Tank, Fuel tank swap

Does anybody know if a short bed side tank will bolt in place of the long bed tank. I just recently put my 203/205 doubler in my 89 F250 and the long bed tank is three inches too long. Hoping that the short bed version will bolt up. Thanks

I think it will work, but you may need mounts for the smaller tank.. I'm not 100% sure the mounts are the same small to large... Pay close attention to the hoses and wires, they may be different too.

short bed tank will work, i did it in my 89, the front strap wont be in the right location, you will need to fabricate a front mount
