So, as some here know, I took the title CL on Sept 17th. I am new to this, so far, I think we are having fun. I am enjoying the new members, the old members, the contributions, the GTGs and the BS thread..But I am easy to please.
What would you the members like to see??
Tool share program,
tech tips ( I think we already do this when asked, but do we need a thread ).
More GTG's?
Common Home repairs ( example of this, I get calls from friends about the furnaces, I use to post the repair in the in anther BS thread)
Please list anything that you may wish to see, or get out of your local forum.
Maybe we should start a thread about what we're good at. I mean I'm the guy everyone around here comes to to get something done. I know a ton of people, and rarely pay retail for anything. I've got connections man. And can always use more.
For example, I can paint trucks. I don't do it for a living, but I can do it. Just painted a bed on my buddies Ranger. I had to disgrace my gun last summer painting a Monte Carlo, but it was for a really good friend.
So I guess a "What's your talent" thread or something like that.

I've only been around since September but this seems to be a busy chapter Pat, particularly compared to the rest. I enjoy it. Always a laugh with good people. I try to sign on at least once a day now just to see what's up. I really don't have any suggestions but I ike the idea of the gtgs and will hit at least one soon.
Ok, I'm good at course at fixing motorcycles (brakes, tune ups, oil changes and if ya got enough money and beers I'll rebuild your whole bike!
P.S. How about the CL and officers (not sure if we have officers) of the Michigan chapter use Skype to help in planning of events and gtg's? Could be easyer to maintain contact and stay on the same page as a group? Just a idea!

Pat I think you are doing a great job! Last year there might have been 4-5 regular members posting. There is much more than that now.
I can't wait to see the numbers grow even more.
The GTG's are great times to ccatch up face to face and of course meet new people. Thanks again Jay for putting the BWW suggestion out there. It's a pretty simple thing to do. Make a suggestion and set a date, wait for the fun to begin.
MY suggestion is that we try to set up as many as little GTG's as possible and maybe do one or 2 large ones, well orginized.

This they would! I use Skype and put a blow-up doll in front of my cam and hide behind it as I chat with my kids and friends moving its arms and legs. They hate me!
