95 psd - where to look for leak (pics)

I recently bought a well used 1995 F350 powerstroke. It has an oil or fuel leak near the firewall dripping down. I believe it only leaks while running. It is my understanding that this is usually something that originates in the valley, around the hpop or the pump itself. The engine is wet with oil there and it seems to be where it is coming from. It seems that there was a previous leak on the drivers side as well, but it seems to have been repaired (although not cleaned up). I thought I would post a few pictures for the keen eyes on here and hope to get some info or opinions. Please feel free to point out anything at all as I am new to owning a psd. Thank you all in advance, Jimbo.

Backed up to show the leak (after three days of sitting in that location):

I would clean everything off first and then see if I could see where it was coming from.

About all you can do is clean it up with some simple green or something, no pressure hose, just rinse it off lightly, get it clean. Then start it and stand on your head with a mirror in places and look for leaks. Maybe need to put some paper towels around to find the leak if its not bad.

If oil could be hpop orings, turbo pedestal orings, hpop lines, etc.

fuel could be pump, bowl, regulator, lines, etc.

In other words, it can leak in a lot of places, just gotta determine where its at.

oil leaks

Hi, one thing i thought about the other day is using one those tools for looking behind walls in houses i have one but have not tried it,but its got a light and a viewing screen that lets you see what there. The one i have is made by RIDGID called a sea snake. This one has a flexible line that bends.

Thank you for the info. Why is it bad to use a pressure washer?

HPOP

The plug i am referring to is the (ford) non-serviceable plug.
When i took plug off there was nothing under it,but i would have sworn i saw a picture somewhere that showed a spring and check ball.
My cavity under plug was empty.

I still haven't gotten in there and cleaned up the oil, but I have managed to break (or bend) more stuff.
