I have no family closer than a thousand miles from me.

 

I'm sorry to hear that John. My niece will be here until early Tuesday morning. Its gonna be hard to see her go. Last time I seen her it was 2 1/2 years ago. Hopefully next year I can get to go to Alaska and see her.

 

I say she is a few miles from you too.

 

But with a 6 year old girl we are having tons of fun and doing girly stuff. We already went shopping for shoes and clothes that was ouchy but so worth it. Then tomorrow is getting nails and hair done.

We had a little girl we used to look after that's all grown up and moved away, 21 already, she was the closest thing to a daughter we had. They visited last year and only seen them for a couple hours, brought a tear to my eye when she left.
