Good morning again from Kansas. We are back home again from our adventures in Memphis and Arkansas. I may have even developed a taste for sweet tea.

Good morning Rick and Chad. Sweet tea is good, but I still like the regular stuff better to quench a thirst. We did manage to eat a bunch of good BBQ and fried food. No weight loss for me on this trip.

Happy Wednesday!

1977 F250 4x4 460 C6
Wish me luck finally figuring out my ignition issues. I have the Pertronix Flame Thrower HEI dist with a Flamethrower II Coil. I have a new wiring harness that is feeding the coil 12.5v. I still cannot get spark to the plugs.

I have both batteries grounded to the chassis (new 4g wire)

I have the engine grounded to the chassis (new 4g wire)

I have the engine grounded to the cab (new 4g wire)

I tried wiring the coil directly with 12v from the battery and a ground to the distributor case from the same battery. Still no spark.

The plugs are new. The wires are accel spiral core 8.5mm.

I bought a coil wire this morning as that seems to be the absolute last thing that it could be.

make sure you are not going through the firewall resistor to power your pertronix. Could be a bad coil, or a bad coil wire.
