Cutting Aluminum Trim with 12 inch miter saw Diablo 12 inch finish blade?

I need to cut some Al tile edging at some weird angles to finish a bathroom but cuts need to be exact. Was thinking of using my 12 inch miter saw.

Do you think using a Diablo Fine Finish 12 inch blade will work or will it ruin blade?

Need to make 8 cuts edging is maybe a 1/16 thick and inch wide

Was going to hose edging and blade with WD40 during each cut.

That will work just fine. I use a high tooth count, CARBIDE tipped blade to cut NON ferrous metals all the time.

No lubricant needed; however eye protection is a must and the chips come off HOT.

I know that a in law works for a glass company that buys HF 10 in miter saws to cut all the alum trim for the business. Buy the extended warranty and if it fails they take it back and get another one with no hassle. Says that it works pretty good. I think though I would do like Herman says and use a high tooth count carbide tipped blade, but I'd buy a cheap one so that if it gets screwed up I wouldn't feel too bad. I've also used my 4.5 cut off blade to cut alum trim.

A Craftsman 12" compound miter saw is the tool of choice for aluminum under 1/8" thick at work. No need to hose with WD40, but I would spray the cut area with it, maybe use a little more if you have problems with the blade loading up.

Thanks I was also worried about Al powder getting up into saw that was why I was planning on dousing with WD40 but also to keep teeth from getting Al stuck to them.
