The rattlecan job is ok, but I believe there are a couple better ways for a cheapo paint job. The spray paint cans are limited because of the paint nozzles...it's hard to get a smooth look over large flat body panels
1. Roll on rust-oleum. There are many that have had success with this. No overspray. Color selection is key. White usually comes out the best.
2. Spray rustoleum through a cheap pneumatic paint gun and a medium sized air compressor. I did this with my old '91 C1500 and was pretty happy with the results. The truck had been hit, and had mismatching body parts, so I did this in my back yard. Even the cheapest paint gun will have a better nozzle than a spraypaint can. I mixed the paint 50%paint/50%mineral spirits

How good is the Duplacolor spray cans? I seen they "had" that color a few years ago.

I know! If the paint went around the fender flair to match the front it would be awesome. It even goes around on the grille as well.
I have yet to find where those rims came from(besides knowing that they're Ultra) and if that's how they come from the factory or they were painted as well.
