Ohh, I see. I would have done the same if it were a work truck, have you ever thought of building a toolbox of some sort to fit between the cab and box?

Ok I have to ask, I've seen that truck posted a bazillion times, what's with the LWB truck and SWB bed?

Here is mine. Top of front fender's are painted with blue with what I could find close to matching the original blue. I painted the bottom edge , grill, bumpers and hood of the truck with semi gloss black. This is my first time trying to repair rust. I have some fender's for it, but there white and teal.
The fender flares are covering up the rusted wheel wells.




Here is what it looked like when I got it.

This ain't no work truck at all, but I do wanna make a custom chrome diamond plated tool box in that cap.

Snow is awesome! I love drifting! But hate the salt they cover the roads with.....

thanks! wish i still had the car... but i ended up with my truck instead, car wasn't feesable in the winter and living on a gravel road now

I like that '71. Nice truck. The Mustangs paint looks great too. I wouldn't have believed gloss would turn out that good if I hadn't seen it. The hood re-paint, my next project, probably the most common thing needing to be re-painted on these trucks... It made a big difference for your truck, same with the re-spray on the Explorer. Some good additions to the thread here. Can't wait to see more. Peace.
