Yeh, I understand. I had to replace mine because a "mechanic" knelt on it and broke it while replacing the water pump for me. He claimed he never did it of course and I also had to show him the pulley tensioner and loan him my 1/2" torque wrench, as it's the only half inch drive bar I have, to get the belt on. Anyway's, that's typical of mechanics, laborers, skilled help, just about EVERYONE where I am now....
I'd be glad to help as I said, so let me know what you need and we'll get working on it. Nice to be able to offer help for a change, this group has always provided it for me. If I ever get back there for a visit, I'll be looking you up for a ride in whatever is currently in yer garage, lol. The trailer looks awesome too, just saw a pic in the "what do you tow" thread. Stayed in afriends van outside of Hereford last time I came back there and I miss the conv Mustang 5.0 I had in FL for years. What a fun drive for a kid in his twenties that was!

Cheers,

Insurance is very strange here now, youngsters are paying over $3,500 to insure 1000cc vehicles that are worth $1,000 or less.

Sadly we get shafted at the gas pump, so the cheap insurance for American cars is is canceled out by disgusting fuel prices lol!!

I'll PM you on my return, I'm in no real rush for the engine trim but it bugs me every time I pop the hood

Hello,

I was looking for an engine cover on google, and I came across this thread. I'm sorry to hi-jack the thread but I've been searching for the better part of this evening for an after market engine cover and I noticed they were mentioned earlier in the thread? Can you tell me where you found it?

No problem buddy, sadly I never did get a cover to the UK so the thread was done.

in fact due to part issues here I may have to sell out for a ugly 98-99 ram, god help me!!! for some reason they are common here even though NOT official imports

Good luck in finding the info you require sir...
