How's it been going buddy? Just looked back at my last update. Has it really been that long already? Sad to say but I haven't gotten any farther then I was since I left off. Been doing everything but working on any of my projects. Relocated and getting situated took up a lot of time but I have helped the old lady alittle with her truck. Sandblasted frame and painted it now it's suspension time and getting the cab and bed back on. That will be one of the winter projects to keep me occupied. Some pics to get up to date.

Unfortunately I went from one snake populated area to another state that has snakes everywhere to just hope I don't get any in the this house. One thing I hate is a snake. Got a shop I can finally work in over winter so I'm very excited for that. Not sure if the cummins crew can fit into it though as those mirrors stick out really far so I'll probably need to take them off if I want to pull it inside. I don't have much to do on it without parts so I was thinking about working on my 66 crew over winter since a lot of that is body work so I might have that as my winter project instead until I get some parts I been good this year so maybe Santa will get me something. So here's my 71 getting loaded up to move and my 66 at it's new home. Out of all these busy months I did manage to pick up a pretty straight unibody drivers door for it so atleast it's some progress instead of none.

^ lost track of my build once again but this time I think there will be some progress starting here soon. The big crew on the trailer is at my old place getting ready for it's journey cross state. The little crew is at my new house after I got it to it's sitting place until I get started on it. I moved because just wanted to try some place different good reason ayy hahaha.

So after weeks of cleaning out the garage i can finally walk around in there and I'm just about ready to be able to pull the big crew inside under a roof for the first time since I owned it. Hopefully within the next week to get working on it again. I got some parts for it. Billet freeze plugs, intake, a start to my fuel system consisting of fittings, filter heads, stainless steel AN hose. Now I just need the fuel regulator, pump and fuel cells and my fuel system will be complete. Can't wait to put these parts on.

Thanks guys parts are always a big step in progress. Can't get anywhere without parts right? I forget the name of the intake off hand I got it in the fall for dirt cheap with the billet freeze plugs I couldn't pass it up. I know the freeze plugs are heisley machine. Trying to wrap up the old lady's truck some more then it's all business on the crew. Got her motor trans and to case back in and I had to patch her front cab mount perches as the bushings just fell right through. Need a hole saw to get the holes drilled back in it then we can slide the cab forward and set the front clip on it. Last night I started working on putting her lift kit on the front damn rusty bolts never been touched always fun to deal with.
And here's the space where the crew will sit. Just about cleaned up enough to fit it in just need to take the pile of scrap in
And move her bed out of the way it's sitting right outside the door

It's amazing how life can get sometimes. Just day to day stuff seems to always takes up so much time by time you get off work. Hard to get some time in on the projects. But I haven't completely stopped at all on the crew just been at it very slowly. So I got it in the garage half way through the winter and just did some patch work on the body but to cold most days. Also got more work done on the gf's 79 put a 6" lift on the front new gas tank and straps new lines got the cab and front dog house bolted back on and all wiring hooked back up. Waiting on headers and brake lines and some misc things yet to make it fairly complete. I'll post pics and all to try catch up where I left off and catch up to the current build stage.
