I have a 88 rx7 that needs a engine and a good 390 coming out of the 71 after the diesel swap so if I get that done it will be my auto cross car I miss that kind of driving and they wouldn't let me use a truck

Thanks for the compliments on the truck I like how the Ic turned out looks like I can possibly use the stock piping I got with the 12v for it just cut the pipe down with angled rubber boots and should work out good from holding the pipe up one day I was curious. Yes many projects to little time and money. It's hard to keep concentrated on one always spend awhile on one and start in on another then go back after awhile no wonder its taking forever on this. But I'm determined to finish this as I'm getting closer (not really lol) but haven't posted this eye candy picked this stuff up at the same time I was still working on the t case. It's been over a year since I sent these to the powder coaters and finally came back. Lots for the crew but some for other projects mixed in. Color is candy purple but looks weird in pics.

wth.... your trading a 14 bolt out for something else.... i kinda thought a 14 bolt was one of the tuffest. what are you stuffin in that monster. a rockwell how stirty is your brick wheel combo.... your powder coating looks hot. thats insane it has taken a year, how come. where did you send it. have you ever looked into doing it yourself? i think im going to buy an old oven and try it you can get started for 200 bucks. and at least get the majority of the stuff. a friend of mine has been doin it for about a year now out of his garage. he bought his gun off ebay for about 150 and he has coated somethin about every week. hes made his money back ten fold already. what color are you going to paint your crew...

14 bolts are great axles which is why I went with it at first. But didnt offer disc brakes and with a bolt on disc kit no e brake offered except for eldorado calipers but heard to many not impressed with them. Was thinking of a driveline brake but with the t case clocked wasnt sure of clearances and wouldn't have a brake if the rear driveshaft broke. So back to the bat cave for some other options. Powder coat took awhile because of some bad luck on both me and his parts dropped them off to get coated and we had some severe flooding so he had to relocate his shop and in storage finally got them out after resituating his shop and had a motorcycle accident and was laid up awhile so after being on hold and me gettin some cash together got them finished. Figured the gas tank just cuz I know its there bahaha would bug me knowing its not coated. I've thought about doing it myself but have to many big parts to fit in the oven so never went and tried it I will one day though. Color I'm not to sure on yet was thinking black or a charcoal grey color sort of like my bike. Finally just about done getting the box truck ready to lift off the frame so I want to get the radiator on the crew started again calling for rain this week though btw rims and block o wood combo very iffy but its all I got

I'd like to get the frame and all brackets that I can powder coated maybe the axles but I may just paint them as they will get scraped up anyways all steering linkage most the parts besides body pretty much. Yea my favorite color is black but I don't want to may projects to be black so I may do a flat black or grey color instead.

Tinstar36 can't you run the caliper on the axle instead of on the back of the 205?

Well today I was planning on gettin my radiator mocked up more but overslept and only got to cut the first lower bracket. Still unsure exactly how I want to do it so it may change as I go farther. Great news though had a special delivery tonight figured I'd have to go pick it up this weekend but was surprised to hear the guy was making a trip my way anyways today so he brought it over didnt have time to unload it so we slide it in the back of my truck and I made it to work with 2 minutes to spare here's my new rear. Will get better pics during the day. Play a game name that rear.

Plans have changed yet again for the rear axle wanted something Alittle bigger yet that disc axle I just got was a Dana 70 from an 01 cummins. I got this monster now can't go much bigger or mise well go rockwells. It's an AAM 11.5 from an 04 cummins just need to get a 4" axle tube u bolt kit and I can start bolting it in ill leave the spring perches unwelded until I figure out my pinion angles. Also got to figure out the lug pattern try converting the AAM to 8x6.5 or match my Dana 60 front with the AAM anyone have opinions to which I should try? Here's some pics of the new hopefully permanent axle.
