tire/driver wheel wobble

I noticed this yesterday while driving and have been pretty hesitant to get back on the road: at lower speeds I can feel a "wobble" in the steering wheel and I'm not sure if it's an alignment/balance thing or if it gets more serious and becomes a control arm, steering box or bearing problem. Any idea on what it could be? It pulls to the right a bit while driving at any speeds, but the wobble is more prevalent at slower speeds than higher ones.

well sounds like you need to get an alignment anyway due to it pulling to the right. if anything else is worn they will know right away. could be ball joints, tierods, wheel bearings or simply a wheel out of balance. I would take it in right away

I'm getting everything inspected: cv, tie rods, bearings, joints, rotors, etc plus alignment and balance. I really can't afford to have this car keep dying on me

turned out to be a separated tire, so I have two new front tires now. Have a clogged cat converter which I'm getting fixed in the AM. Thank you for the response. The alignment was just fine, however. Drove straight lines without using a hand for about 3 miles.

make sure they install a Hi flow cat in place of the clogged unit. no reason to install a standard cat in there. magnaflow is a great brand also.

who is doing the cat replacement? i hope not midas or some chain shop.

the repairs are being done by a mechanic I spent the last year getting to know. It's the only shop under that name in Orlando and with how often I bring the truck to him, I think my next repair might be free.

It's a purely cash or check payment shop, which is why I looked into it. From having to get my sister's truck repaired I've noticed that bigger shops tend to...slack...sometimes.
