Frame swap?

Can i put a 1993 2wd 5.0 body onto a 1991 4x4 frame?

If there is something else you might need to know about either truck let me know...

Theyre both extended cab length frames..

Wouldn't see why not, should be a straight over swap if the frames are the same length.

Not trying to change your opinion on this, but you might run into trouble with the bumper. Search for front clip conversion threads so you can see how they mounted the bumper. Other than that the only problem is getting the help to move the body over to the new frame.

Agreed w ptboi94 the front frame horns are different for the bumper mount and also dont have a crumple zone either

i wouldnt think the front bumper mounts would be any big deal to fab some mounts up. also the 93 doesnt have air bags so i wouldn't worry too much about crumple zone on the frame rail.
