What muffler have you found to blend well as far as sound
I have 06 Nav and replaced rear resinator and chrome stock tip with a 3" diameter slant rolled end 18" magnaflow stainless pipe welded on . That looks great to replace the big round tank at rear of truck . I tried having my stock muffler removed and replaced with a flowmaster 50 series with deltaflow - it was a great sound ( if the truck was a mustang ! ) but way too loud for wife and I guess even for me because it is a Nav not a sports car . I had welding shop put on a AP exhaust MSL Maximum - oem style muffler with a single cartridge design . It sounds perfect ! Just a bit louder than stock ( btw I had resinator removed prior to muffler by a week ) and NO DRONE OR POPPING like flowmaster .

had nothing but great success with Magnaflow mufflers and 3.5" tips
had a few flowmasters over the years and they are too darn loud.
I was going to get a custom Magnaflow setup using a 24" bullet muffler and the factory pipes with a single 3.5" tip. The exhaust shop said and I quote "bring $1,000 down and that should be enough to get it done". Freakin' ripoffs in Hawaii. Needless to say, I still have the factory setup
but yeah, if you want a nice "Family friendly" exhaust, get a Gibson or Magnaflow. They focus more on performance with good tones. Not loud *** noise
