2006 Rear Entertainment System (DVD)

I have the factory 6 disc stereo and the factory Rear Rail mounted DVD system. I am wanting to replace the the stereo with something that has more power. Will I beable to incorporate the DVD system with the new stereo? Is there a certain stereo type i need to look for? I would really like Bluetooth and iPhone/iPod compatability. Anyone know of anything?

BTW the DVD plays through the radio. I press the AUX button for the CD/DVD feature and it plays through the speakers.

Thanks
Rodney

I have the DVD system in my 04. No one makes a compatible head unit that communicates with the DVD system. I changed out my factory speakers with some 6x9's and installed factory sub woofer under seat. Big improvement. I'm sure a amp would really make it kick. I think there is a company that makes a adapter to allow a ipod or mp3 to be plugged in to the system, but was pretty pricey.

Do you know the manafacture of the rail mount DVD system? If so I can get the wiring harness adapter prints from them and make one. (I do Avionics installation for a living and thats all we do is make adapters to work with other electronics)

I really have no idea who the manufacture of the system is. Maybe someone else will chime in on that one.
