they wont delete it im sure, but they can close it pretty easy. you will have to PM a admin or mod and ask them

 

Actually the way it works is that it gets moved to a forum only admins & etc can see, sort of a digital "black Hole".
Nothing at FTE is ever deleted except in minor ways, such as editing a post with unauthorized content (blatant profanity, advertising, etc...)

Unless it's a duplicate post...
