Well it is a lot closer then before as that was a big hurdle when you are dealing with the high pressure lines on a fuel injected motor. The next big step is getting the cooling system done then wire it up and see if it fires!

Yeah Dave's truck was marking it's territory but it has a fight on it's hands for this area! LOL

Good morning Dave!!

Well I am gonna head up to Alex this morning! You guys have a good morning. I will catch ya later!

Haha That's funny. I actually thought you did a little brake stand or something like that.

Good to know on the exhaust Dave.

Jay I agree with him doing a brake stand and roasting the tires, that was my first thought anyway.

Miles, nice to see you back on the board again, hopefully this summer you can make it to one of the GTG's or maybe even have one up there......

Mike nice try on the April fools joke about selling your car and truck. I fell for your first one but no that one, LOL

Dave, great info on the exhaust for Miles....

Hey Chris , Sam , Dale and anyone else on here today.......

OK I have a question. Just got off the phone with my mother who all of you know is moving out here soon. She said something about her car that has me scratching my head. Her mechanic said the she has a crack in her steering system but not to worry about it because if it breaks it will just feel like the car is floating. I am thinking steering stabilizer but am not positive her car even has one. She has a 1998 buick regal. I am sure its not a big deal because in NY you have to pass a yearly safety inspection but I wouldn't leave it like that.....Any ideas??????

I did have a friends sway bar link brake on his buick.....made for "floatie" steering, but the thunkling was more worrysome.

They do have a sway bar Tom, so that would my guess...

Sounds like a check from another mechanic might be a good idea though.

Thanks for the input on my mom's car. She also needs brakes (probably warped rotors) and wanted to get it done out there but they were going to charge her a ton. I told her to wait and I would fix it when we got her out here. Just wanted to get some idea's and truly see if it was safe. I might need to have someone drive it back here, maybe......
