Iggy, did you take Interstate 8 over? I remember having to wrap my old V10 out in 2nd pulling that mountain pass just before Yuma on my way to the dunes. I'd had that thing floored in 2nd doing about 40mph pulling my old travel trailer (6k lbs). Just curious how you did over that if you went that same way.

I just noticed your in Surprise so you may not have gone that way (I lived in Gilbert). Anyways, just curious... Great report BTW!

I'm getting off of my Ford screen between the tach and speedometer.
I have a Lariat package so you may not have it as it is an option.
It is under the first item on the screen called Guage Mode

Great job on the report, very detailed and a lot of information.

On the XLT it is a option to get the productivity screen, I have it.

Thanks.

Has anyone else experienced a very slow to respond compass on the SD's? When I turned from 'north' to 'west' the gauge took nearly two minutes to show the change.

Have you done the calibration? You set your zone and make a 360 degree turn slowly and it will tell you it has calibrated.

I did right after I picked it up. After maybe 15~20 minutes it started working. I even tried changing the settings when it was acting up to no avail. I'll go calibrate it again and give an update.

Okay, drove in circles to calibrate the compass and it appears to have fixed the issue.

Great glad to hear the compass issue is resolved.
I think driving slowly in a circle is the key for a good calibration.
I'm sure this will help others.
Have a great day!

My phone hooked up easily but the problem I have is remembering the voice commands.
Remember that you can say HELP! most of the time and it says all the things you can say or do.

I'm waiting for it to call me stupid some day.

pretty sure you can turn off the voice prompts..
Mine was off for awhile. But i think my sayin help one day it turned on. just realized that. lol.
now what i do know is without the voice prompts you also loose that little "ding" that you speak after.. that leaves you to either keep looking at the screen (if you have the nav) or timing it right every time. lol.
also if you have the nav it tells you the commands..
you should also be able to dial with your phone (sometimes the easiest), and talk through the blue tooth
