Engine failure & rebuild

Listen to this, I built a 302 stroked to a 347 with GT40 heads ported and 192 intake valves, a cobra intake and much more, I only got 5,000 miles out of it before my thrust bearing eat 1/8 of a inch into my brand new crank. It destroyed the whole bottom end of the motor including the block. I rebuilt the 4R70W transmission with red eagle clutches and all the upgrades and a heavy duty torque converter. I checked and the torque converter didn't balloon. We narrowed it down to the new 347 Eagle crank. They wouldn't except no blame and I couldn't prove nothing. I was told to chalk it up to just bad luck. We'll that was $5,000 dollars shot. Now I'm working on a New Boss 302 with the same top end I used on the other engine. Does anyone know where I can get a new Boss 302 Block less than $1,500.00? That's the cheapest I have found one.
