I wonder what the little chrome ***** are under the side marker? Never saw that before. Sure hope the spare tire door is there.

The pics on my phone are shrunk down. Is that the tire storage or the tool box door?

The chrome "*****" are anchor points for a camper tie down system. If the camper ever rocked, it would either pull them out of the sheet metal or pull a big dent in it. They are an aftermarket setup.

tire storage. and no door. someone would have to re-use theirs, or find another one.

1973/76 F350 Super Camper Special / 1973/79 F350 Regular Cab Trailer Special / 1973/79 F350 Regular Cab Camper Special...all on the 140" wheelbase only.

Will this specific to this wheelbase only "long" bed work with your project?

Man oh man...you guys are making me jealous. Being in the SE, we have pretty good parts...but I'm in an area where dentsides are prevalent so salvaged parts pull a premium. But I feel for you guys, I absolutely hate it when folks request parts or ask you to look for something, you pull it or find it for them, and then they back out.

Well I looked into shipping and it was 487.00 to Indiana. Ouch.

I can take 300 but now it becomes a $1100 bed and I still need F800 to palletize.

Might fine bed, hope someone will save it.

I may cut off the bedsides before they crush it for someone to use in the future. The one side is dent free original paint as far as I can tell. Gotta be gold to someone down the road....

I just got back from the Titanic exhibit here in Vegas- the big chunk they brought up from the bottom of the ocean reminds me of what you guys in the north deal with.

Crazy to see 2 inch thick steel plate with rust holes in it.

Its sad here in missouri and other states alike that use calcium and salts on the roads. They started experimenting with something like cranberry juice. I've got friends that have 2001's with the rockers already rusted out. I'm in ahhh when I take a trip to other states and see 70's and 80's cars and trucks driving around with no rust.
