I've seen you mention this somewhere else. Dumb question: what is a WOT?

yeah, sure sounds just like a water suck up job. And, please put your mind at ease, I've been towing 5ers for a over 10 years with diesels and this truck pulls every bit as well as my 7.3 did and maybe even better. And don't be afraid to let that boost work. When you put the coal to it the boost will go way past half way, that's just how the truck works. It's computer managed and the computer won't let us do anything real stupid, it will either defuel or go limp mode first. Relax and enjoy. I you maintain this truck it will do great.

Stanely, I drove the truck yesterday for about 100 miles on the highway. Just as I thought, there was no water in the CAC. But is has been very dry here lately. My service rep at the dealer here told me that it was normal. He did mention the TSB that says it could be replaced, but I had to meet all the requirements first. Without water in it, that wont happen. I have another trip this fall so I will see if it happens again.

Yeah, you need some humidity or rain to get the moisture in there. living in Dixie land I don't have any trouble finding that. I did note that last summer being in the rockies and out west where it's dry I didn't have one occurance even when I tried doing my pre-emptive strikes. I do however have the new CAC. The last time I had a problem with the new one was crossing the everglades which are very humid, even in winter.
