Excursion factory leather seat cover replacements?

Have an '04 Eddie Bauer, leather interior. Butt portion of front driver's seat is torn where you slide in and out, wondering if I can just buy the factory leather cover and replace it? Anyone have any sources?

Also, who's using a good set of tough seat covers that that they are happy with that I can put over the seats to protect them?

I've found seat covers keep dirt off the original seats, but don't protect from them from wearing out 'cause
the underside of most seat covers are rougher than
your jeans.

My '05 has a new seat cover (no idea where they got it) so I'm using the running boards/grab handle to try to reduce wearing out the outer edge of the seat.

I put neoprene seat covers in my 2000 Jeep TJ and I like the 2-tone look and they keep mud/water off the original seats underneath.

Check out the seat shop:

Leather Seat Covers, Replacement Seat Cover, Truck Seat Covers, The Seat Shop

They include videos on how to replace the seat cover.

Are the seats different from year to year? Would I be able to use black seat covers for an 05 Eddie Bauer on 2000 limited seats? I'd love to be able to change as much of the interior to black as I could... can't stand tan

The seat shop has 03-04 separate from 05. Best might be to call them and ask.

Yes, the seats have changed over the years. The '00-'01 seats are very different than the '02-'04, and there appears to be a slight change again in '05.
