I dented my tailgate backing into a tree while mudding a few weeks ago. So I am looking for a tailgate for my truck....Preferably very cheap. Theres one on craigslist for $25, but its off an 86. Will it fit? I actually really like the look of it, I just do not want to go get it if it won't fit.

Never tried it but under the impression it will fit.
it will fit i have a '82 tailgate on my '89 bed it latches perfect its just diff. lookin...
ill try to post a pic if i can find out how...

the gate is different. the latches are different. but it will fit. get the hardware off the bed your getting the gate from

The LMC 100$ tailgates are the super cheap thin gauge cheap garbage ones!
