Intro: My 2001 Excursion

Hey guys. Just wanted to stop lerking and show off the new purchase. The info from this board was invaluable in me making my decision. This is a 2001 with the 7.3L diesel. I picked it up with 160,000 miles for 11,600. It was originally from Texas before ending up in Michigan.

Nice!!!

Nice!!!
the tires are 33" and unknown on the lift. i saw a previous post on the board where a guy was trying to indentify what he has and it looks like im in the same boat. there is 9" between the tires and the wheel well and dual shocks up front. the shocks are skyjackers. if anyone has any ideas on how to ID the lift, let me know.

as for the headlights, they are the aftermarket type with the halo lights.

couple problems: the vcr from the entertainment system is missing and the fog lamps are not wired right so i have a couple things to work on. all in all im pretty darn happy. cant wait to take it on the trails in northern michigan

thanks for the warm welcome!

Looks like 3" or 4" of lift to me. Good looking truck! Guys here in Texas know how to make fix up our trucks!
