I'm restoring my dad's 78 F100 that he's had since new. it currently has a t18 and I'd like to swap it out for a zf 5 speed that I found with the windsor bolt pattern. aside from a new driveshaft is there any major work that would have to be done to do the swap? the trans. comes with everything i would need for the hydraulic clutch, right down to the pedal itself. It could really use that extra gear for the highway.
