F250 Tires and Wheels

I have found two sets of OEM F250 take off tires and wheels 17" and 18". These are from newer trucks. I have a 1999 2WD F250, will these wheels fit my older truck?

I'll take a stab at this. The bolt pattern should be the same 8x170mm, BUT I think the back spacing is different. The 2005 and newer have a b.s. Of 5.5" or 6". The 2004 and older have a b.s. Of 4.5"

The difference is for clearance of leaf springs on ur truck compared to the coil springs of the 05 and newer.

Again I'm not 100% sure but I think you can put them on the hubs, but they will rub your leaf springs.

I think your right. I have found some other sources that talk about the offset being off a couple of inches starting in 2005. Some say you can use spacers but I am not sure if that is a good idea even if you can..

Thanks for the input..

No problem. I have heard good things and bad things about spacers. I have never used them.
