98 F150 klunk on front end

I replaced the A arms on both sides and also replaced the lower ball joints. When I turn all the way to the right and back up in reverse, the front end makes a klunk noise which is pretty loud. It's coming from the drivers side. I've checked everything and everything looks good from underneath and no play in any of the linkages. Suggestions?

I know this may sound silly, but I chased a klunk/pop in my front end that sounds just like what you described for 6 months.

Replaced control arm bushings, ball joints, had the linkage gone over at least three times, checked and rechecked king pins, replaced spring isolators, on and on and on....

Turned out to be the lower shock mount. Bolt hole was elongated, and when I turned a certain way and just the right pressure was applied, I would get a pretty loud KLUNK!

That dang mount made me crazy!! Replaced the mount, and used a new shock bolt, and klunk went away.

I had a clunk coming from the right passenger side. Turned out to be worn leaf spring bushing toward the front spring mount. had all new spring bushings pressed in, and good to go.
