One More '73 Turn Signal Cam Posting

Okay, down to nitpicking details on my truck, got almost everything working now but the turn signals do not turn off when you go around the corner. Is this normally the cams that go bad or is it whatever clicks them that goes bad? The signal locks in either direction just fine. I checked and the whole switch assembly costs about $55 and I don't want to go buy one if it's not going to do the trick. What say ye all?

The new cam assembly from LMC will fix the problem. Just be careful when you install it-the parts around the collar are fragile and you can cause a whole mess of new problems if you're not patient and careful installing this thing!

Signal switch

I have the sae problem as this post indicates. Signal light work but wont turn off. I have a 75 f100. Automatic, but not the original column as the truck was a standard from factory. I have no info on the column or wheel. It does have a under cab NSS switch which is working so the column may be a 73-77??. How do I get the correct switch? Can I get numbers off the old one? I do not want to open it up until I have what I need.

Thanks
Ben

1973/77: NSS located on steering column / 1978/79: NSS located on transmission.

1978/79 T/S switches different than 1973/77. There are 3 1978/79 switches: With Tilt Wheel / With A/T without Tilt / With M/T without Tilt.

Tilt wheel feature operates via the turn signal handle by pressing it forward.

Ford looped a paper tag over the T/S wires, has an ID number on it that includes 13B302
