No throttle -obd ii codes P2138,P2139,P2140

Hello,
I have 2003 6.0L F350 SD that the gas pedal will go to floor, but the truck idles in the safe mode. I ran the OBD II and received these codes:
P2138 TPS DE voltage correlation
P2139 TPS DR voltage correlation
P2140 TPS E/F voltage correlation.

My question is what part do I need to get to fix this. The truck runs fine other wise.

thanks,
79 Bronc.

Thats what I was thinking too. Is there an accerator pedal sensor I should concerned about (pg 51 6.0 bible)? Autozone said there isn't a TPS on this truck, or is it a Ford part only?
thanks,

I think the whole pedal IS the TPS.....or what we'd think of as one. Our trucks HAVE been known to have them go bad. Ford only part.

I believe this is the second time mine has gone bad. Had the factory do it the first time. Money is to tight to give it to Ford.

Besides its more fun and educational reading all the post on FTE trying to teac hmyself to be a diesel mechanic. I hate hide sight is 20/20, when was at the fork in the road on what career to take, I should have gone to Wyoming Tech.

I barrowed a OBD II scan tool, but I'm looking to buy one under 200 bucks. Any suggestions.

thanks,

Mine just went bad. Here is a link to Rockford auto parts. They have them both in stock and cheap too. Just input your truck info, then under Boby-interiers is the Throtle pedel postition senser.

It might be a good idea to check the wiring harness going to the pedal over carefully before you go about spending money on one. Chafed wires can cause all of the same problems as a bad pedal.

I replaced the TPS and pedal and as you said did not fix my problem. Where should I look for chaffing of the wiring?

From what I read they chaff up around the steering collum in the cab just start following the wires from the pedal
